Online conference: Early bird discount for betterCode () .NET 6 has been extended

The early bird discount will be extended for the online conference on the next .NET release on November 23, 2021. A ticket from heise developer and dpunkt.verlag in cooperation with IT-Visions.de betterCode () .NET 6 for the upcoming LTS (Long-Term Support) release is now available up to and including November 8 for 149 euros (all prices plus VAT). After that, the regular price of 199 euros applies

.NET 6 is due to appear on November 9th and is the new basis for all programs based on Microsoft’s development platform – whether desktop applications with Windows Forms and WPF, web applications with ASP.NET, mobile apps based on Universal Windows Platform and .NET MAUI or Unity games. The .NET 5, which was published last year and is currently up-to-date, is to be understood as an introduction to .NET 6. .NET 6, on the other hand, will be the future central release for everyone who uses .NET as a development platform.

With the betterCode () .NET 6, proven .NET experts offer developers a compact one-day tour through the new main version. The participants get practical knowledge to familiarize themselves with the innovations of .NET 6 and to get an assessment of how they can approach the update. You have the opportunity to address your questions to proven .NET insiders such as Holger Schwichtenberg, Christian Wenz, Rainer Stropek, André Krämer and Thomas Claudius Huber – either via chat or directly via the BigBlueButton rooms integrated into the online conference platform.

The participants expect the following 45-minute lectures:

  • .NET 6: What’s New in Application Types, APIs, and in the SDK
  • News in C # 10
  • News from ASP.NET Core 6.0 and Blazor 6
  • Migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 6
  • WinUI 3 and the Windows App SDK: Develop modern desktop apps for Windows 10 and 11
  • Cross-platform development with .NET Multi-Platform App UI

In addition to the currently granted early bird discount, teams can benefit from group discounts. For this it is necessary to contact the conference team. A workshop on switching to .NET 6, offered separately for November 25th, costs 449 euros.

The entire program and detailed information on the procedure, the lectures and speakers are available on the Website of the online event on .NET 6. In December 2020 there was a comparable conference to .NET 5.0, which had over 400 participants.
